RIBBON BLENDER MIXER

Description of Ribbon Blenders

The koyka group ribbon blender are based on a proven agitator construction that provides a triple mixing action thus ensuring fast efficient blending. The dimensions and configuration of the ribbons in ribbon blender are carefully balanced to provide a movement of material within the container that avoids dead spots and gives rapid product discharge. The design of the Jas ribbon blender can incorporate features required for a customer's product or process such as: wear resistance, corrosive resistance, vacuum filling and discharge arrangements, special shaft seals, heating/cooling jackets. Ribbon blender are available in sizes 100-8000 liters in Stainless Steel 304, Stainless Steel 316 and Mild Steel Construction.

About ribbon blender design

Ribbon blender are widely used for homogeneous mixing of dry granules and powders. The blender comprises a "U" tank, shaft with two sets of spiral ribbons, one inside the other. Inner and outer ribbons are perfectly arranged, that during rotation, the material reaches each corner of the trough and imparts radial and linear motion to the whole of the material to be mixed. Our range of ribbon blender are based on a proven agitator construction that provides a triple mixing action ensuring fast, efficient blending. As the agitator rotates in ribbon blender, the material is tumbled and carried radically around the inside of the blender. The pitch of the outer ribbon moves the material towards the discharge opening. The inner ribbon which has an opposing pitch moves the material away from the discharge opening.

KURKURE EXTRUDER

Description of Extruded Snacks Making Plant

Cheese curls, sometimes referred to as corn curls or cheese puffs, have been a popular snack food. These crispy cheese snacks are formed from cornmeal, water, oil, and flavored coatings. Cheese curls are an extruded snack, meaning they are cooked, pressurized, and pushed out of a die that forms the particular snack shape. They are then baked (or fried, depending on the product) and flavored with oil and seasonings. Today, we eat extruded corn snacks that are irregularly shaped depending on the shape of the die. Flavorings added after baking or frying vary greatly and different brands have distinctive flavors. These snacks are extremely popular snacks with children. The cheese curl industry packages them so that they are an easy choice to drop into school lunches.

Operating principle of Rotary head extruder

Gelatinization of moisturized starchy ingredients takes place inside a concentric cavity between two brass plates, one rotary with 3 blades (fingers) plus grooves, and the other one with grooves only. The action of these blades on the rotating head creates the necessary condition of pressure and heat to achieve gelatinization of the raw materials at approximately 260°F (127°C). Expansion and forming of the product occurs in a narrow gap between the two plates (usually referred to as rotor and stator). Blades affixed to a circular knife support ring mounted on the outer edge of the rotor cuts to the desired size. Moisture, feed screw speed and type of brass used for the extruder heads control the expansion and texture of the product.

HYDRO (DE-WATERING/DE-OILING MACHINE)

Description of Centrifugal Dryer ( Hydro Extractor)

Centrifugal dryer used to remove excess oil/water from namkeens, potato and banana chips. It has a rotating basket in which the product which has to be dried is placed, after a spin for few minutes the product is dried, only the surface water/oil is removed from this machine product is not fully dried.

Operating principle of centrifugal hydro extractor (centrifuges)

Washed potato / banana or fried namkeen poured into the drum of centrifuge hydro extractor from top, the inner stainless steel perforated round holes screen removable drum rotates at the high speed. Water / oil will remove from potato / banana or namkeen by centrifuge hydro extractor. Detach the drum and remove semi dry material from drum as per our standard supply, but now due to tilting type centrifugal hydro extractor no need to remove rotated drum just push the lever and tilt the drum thus dried material came out.(tilting up to 180° ) the centrifuge hydro extractor drum rotated by suitable electric motor

Companies are constantly seeking new flavors to spray onto the extruded cornmeal collettes. Recently, very spicy coatings have been added to one company's product and they are selling well. Construction Kurkure puff snacks flavouring machines

Stainless steel 304 semi ellipsoidal size pan with a circular mouth for charging fried food products pan mounted at an inclination of 45 degrees to the horizontal. Suitable totally enclosed fan cooled motor with suitable worm reduction gear box and pulley arrangement for rotating coating pan. The motor and gear box is mounted inside sturdy mild steel frame and the pan mounted on the gearing housing fitted in the stand. All joints argon arc welded and all stainless steel parts polished to suitable finished required of food processing equipment mild steel parts automotive painted to smooth finish.

Crankshaft:

Introduction of Fully Automatic kurkure type snacks food production Lines

Kurkure are extruded snacks, very crunchy and great in taste. Kurkure are made by extrusion process. The kurkure corn meal is moisturized in the flour mixer with water and fed to the rotary die extruder. In the extruder, due to excess heat and pressure from the screws the meal gets heated and the moisture content gets reduced. The meal passed through the die and gets cut by the cutting knifes into required lengths. The kurkure are fried in cooking oil and then cooled before flavoring. Seasoning is sprayed on the kurkure to improve their taste.Machines involved in making kurkure:

Flour mixer with feeder - to mix corn meal with water to prepare the flour for kurkure and more mixture from mixer machine to rotary head extruder for kurkure type snacks.

Rotary head extruder for kurkure type snacks - to cook the corn meal and extrude the kurkure from the die. The rotary die twists and curls the meal before extruding giving a uniform texture.

Feeding elevator - this equipment is proved for transfer the corn curls from extruder to rotary sieve.

Rotary sieve - the fines or small particles that are produced as the collets are removed by this rotary sieve.

Continuous frying system with heat exchanger - to fry the kurkure in hot cooking oil. The uniform frying introduces the crunchy taste to the kurkure.

De-oiling belt (Roaster) – to remove exceed oil from corn curls.

Linear feeder - this devices used to feed corn curls for flavouring on seasoning system.

Automatic seasoning system with Slurry System - to add required seasoning to the fried and cooled kurkure to give the different flavours to them

 

Grit mixer feeder

To mix corn meal with water to prepare the flour for Kurkure from corn meal, rice meal, corn grits, millet, etc as raw materials for production of puffed corn curls, Jas enterprise manufacturer of continuous proportioning in-line mixers. In-line mixers are made from polished stainless steel 304. Discharged material convey to the rotary head single screw extruder by screw feeder. Cornmeal is carefully chosen for use in puffed corn curls. The cornmeal must be of fine texture so that it produces a pleasant feel as it is eaten. Also, cornmeal with a low moisture content is used in this process. Too much moisture in the meal will render the product soggy. Cornmeal inspected for moisture content is placed into a mixing bin and sprayed with a fine mist of water as it is stirred. Water poured directly into the meal will result in gluten formation, uneven distribution of moisture, and clumping of wet grain. When the desired consistency is achieved, the mixture is immediately extruded.

 

Kurkure Extruder

We manufactuer kurkure extruder where in we carry the process of gelatinization in a concentric cavity between two dye, one rotary with 3 blades (fingers) plus grooves, and the other one with grooves only. The action of these blades on the rotating head creates the necessary condition of pressure and heat to achieve gelatinization of the raw material. Product is expanded and formed in a narrow gap between the two plates. Blades affixed to a circular knife support ring mounted on the outer edge of the rotor cuts to the desired size. Constructed with painted mild steel, 2" tubular frame, mild steel painted belt guard, stainless steel hopper, stainless steel guard at product discharge and painted castings.

 

Rotary Sieve

Description of Rotary sieve

The fines or small particles tend to absorb oil and flavorings and are undesirable to include in a package of cheese curls. The fines or small particles that are produced as the collets are removed by this rotary sieve. Adapted for a variety of products and can simultaneously sort into several different grading classifications.

 

Kurkure Continuous Fryer

Description of Pellet kurkure nicknack continuous fryer State-of-the-art Pellet frying line for uniform frying of various pellet snacks like curls, balls, rings, wheels, tubes, chips, sticks, kurkure, Nik Naks, chataka pataka, Twisties, Bingo! Tedhe Medhe etc. The product quality is excellent and system is simple and easy to operate. This phase represents the heart of the whole process as the immersion of pellet into the oil bath causes its expansion: the final step is the edible snack. The key principle is that the quick heating of the pellet (frying temperature ranges between 185-200°C) causes the softening of the matrix and the very quick transformation of its residual water in vapour, so that the consequent pressure produces the expansion of the pellet. Complete system consists of frying section and peddles, sub merger belt, top hood, takeout belt, oil filter, heat Exchanger. The flow of oil ensures a linear flow of oil, which is necessary in order to have a uniform frying time for the entire product.The equipment is designed to have a low oil holding capacity (150 Liter) in order to achieve low oil turnover ratio.

Heat Exchager

It is Coil type- Seamless Stainless, Steel tubes fitted in mild steel shell, the oil is heated by hot air not direct flame in coils which has an inlet system from one end and heated oil will be coming out from other end and will go to the fryer. Whole burnt fuel used in this system that gives you more than 55% saving in Fuel.

Oil Tank with Cooling System

A double jacketed stainless steel oil Tank with 250 Liter capacity will be supplied with the fryer for storing fresh and used oil. The Tank is designed in such a Way so that the flow of water is there in the outer shell for cooling the oil.

Description of flavour applicator and tumbler Fried snacks are flavoured according to consumer tastes and the type of pellet to be used.
